Please . . . Please . .
Don’t just turn up at a Pub or other site and expect to park on their car park or land overnight. Always phone ahead and get their permission. Ask if you can park for free if you intend to use their pub for eating and drinking.
Always be courteous and never use any of their facilities without seeking permission first. Many pubs will only let you use their toilets during their opening hours and only if you’re a customer. Respect their decisions.
Don’t use their car park as a campsite – no tables & chairs, no awnings, definitely no BBQ’s, no generators, no noise.
If you have a dog, always check that dogs are allowed inside the pub.
Ask what time you should leave by, most sites will expect you to leave the next morning, but ask if you want to stay another night (and use the pub), many landlords will say yes, but they may have restrictions imposed by the local authorities.
If you can’t make it for any reason, always phone and let them know. Some pubs only have space for a couple of larger vehicles.
Leave a Comment on the Pub’s Page. It will help others and it’s always nice to thank the owner if they’ve been helpful and accommodating.
We have also set up a Facebook Page where you can join in with others and help grow our community.
